Muškat

Rijetki su ljubitelji vina koje nije osvojio muškat žuti i mnogi već dobro poznaju i karakteristike ove sorte. Muškat je zajednički naziv za skupinu izrazito mirisnih sorti bijeloga grožđa, podrijetlom iz Francuske. U francuskoj pokrajini Alzas od nje se proizvode suha bijela vina, a u talijanskoj pokrajini Asti poznati pjenušci. U Hrvatskoj se uzgaja muškat bijeli, muškat žuti, muškat istarski (momjanski), muškat ruža porečki bijeli, muškat ottonel bijeli i muškat canelli bijeli. Glavna karakteristika ovih desertnih vina, pored visokog postotka alkohola je i visok postotak šećera. Ova vina se piju kao aperitiv prije jela ili nakon jela uz slastice, a uz to se koriste i u gastronomiji kao dodatak raznim kolačima i jelima. Najbolje ih je servirati rashlađena ili na ledu na temperaturi između 14 °C – 16 °C. Muškat žuti je zbog svojih karakteristika preporučena sorta za uzgoj u svim vinogorjima Hrvatskog primorja, Istre, Moslavine, Plešivice, Zagorja i Međimurja, a dopuštena je za uzgoj u podregijama Podunavlje, Slavonija, Prigorje-Bilogora i Pokuplje. Muškat žuti ima sve karakteristike da osvoji i one koji nisu bili ljubitelji vina, jer je idealan pratitelj laganih voćnih deserata, kolača, pita i čokolada.

The main characteristic of these dessert wines, in addition to a high percentage of alcohol, is a high percentage of sugar. These wines are drunk as an aperitif before meals or after meals with desserts, and are also used in gastronomy as an addition to various cakes and dishes. It is best to serve them chilled or on ice at a temperature between 14 ° C – 16 ° C. Due to its characteristics, Muscat Yellow is a recommended variety for cultivation in all vineyards of the Croatian Littoral, Istria, Moslavina, Plešivica, Zagorje and Međimurje, and is allowed for cultivation in the Danube, Slavonia, Prigorje-Bilogora and Pokuplje subregions. Muscat yellow has all the characteristics to win over those who were not wine lovers, as it is an ideal companion for light fruit desserts, cakes, pies and chocolates.
